Most cyclic “conditions”, including Bipolar, Unipolar, Depressive Disorders with Recurrence, etc are the result of issues with high level homeostatic control circuitry, the overwhelming majority being in the hypothalamus and putamen/globes. There will also be a similar control system located in the brain stem for brain stem focused items.
Treatment paths should focus on re-establishing the homeostatic control in these regions.
