Is salience strength reciprocally mediated by the valence signals?
Analogy – Musical instruments have a salience pulse which gets modified by the instrument itself to make a particular sound. Whether it’s the stroke initiating the vibration of stringed instruments or breathe in a woodwind, the initial salience pulse is then modified by the fretboard or keys on a Saxophone.
